DAILY PRAYER POINTS

Day One: Prayer for The lord’s vision and Direction for the next 3 months

1.) May the Lord speak to us concerning vision for our personal lives and help us to have ears that are inclined to listening. (1 Sam 3:10, Isaiah 55:3, Jeremiah 29:11 )

2.) Pray that the Lord grants us revelation of His heart desires for our lives (Amos 3:7, Proverbs 19:21)

3.) Pray for the Lord to deliver us from fear and self-sabotaging thoughts, so that we can carry out His vision for our lives. (2 Corinthians 10:5, Isaiah 41:20)

4.) Pray for the Lord to Instruct and teach us the direction in which we should move forward in. Counsel us every step of the way. (Psalm 32:8)

Day Two: Strength to live with Purity and Integrity

1.) Lord create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Wash out impurities in our hearts. (Psalm 51:10)

2.) Ask the Lord to teach us how to love purity so that our friendship with Him will grow (Proverbs 22:11)

3.) Lord teach us how to guard our hearts from all that does not please you nor reflect your Word. Give us wisdom to know what and what not to allow into our hearts so that your Word would manifest through our everyday lives. (Proverbs 4:23)

4.) Pray and ask God to take your eyes off things that distract us from His presence and for Him to place your gaze upon Him. Ask Him to reveal the little foxes that spoil the vineyard; that spoil our fellowship with Him. As He is revealing these things, ask Him how to respond. (Songs of songs 2:15)

Day Three: Grace to walk in the first commandment- Love God

1.) Pray that we would continually seek the lord in close fellowship and that God would remove the desires for worldliness within us as we seek Him (1 John 2:15-17)

2.) Pray and ask God to give us a heart of submission to lay down any idols in our hearts. Ask God to reveal the things that are hindering us from walking in unity with Him (Exodus 20:1-26)

3.) Pray for the body of Christ to truly know the Father, our first love. Pray for God to remove all false perceptions of who He is. ( Matthew 22:37, Job 42:5)

Day Four: Increase desire to know God and grow in the knowledge of His love (Psalm 27:4)

1.) Lord put a craving in our hearts for You, walking in the willingness of our spirit to love you deeper. (Psalm 63: 1-4)

2.) Lord forgives us for desiring our own way more than Yours. May You increase and we decrease. Pray Psalm 1 (Jeremiah 6:16)

3.) Lord help us to be real with you and not ignore the things about us that we know should be addressed. Help us to dig deep within ourselves and see to it that every toxic/detrimental root is uprooted. (Jeremiah 29:13; Psalm 119:1)

4.) Empower us to be carriers and conduits of the fullness of You (Ephesians 3: 16-19)

Day Five: Pray for Light City Church

1.) Pray for a release of God’s power and miracles in our midst and weekly service (Matthew 11:4-5)

2.) Pray for outreach events: drawing of souls to Jesus and to Light City Church (Proverbs 11:30; Acts 2:44-47)

3.) Pray for and release hope and strength to endure trials and challenges that Light City partners are facing now or will face in the future. (Romans 15:13, Ephesians 6:13, Isaiah 54:19)

4.) Pray for spiritual growth in the lives of every Light City partner. Pray that we would all bear fruit and develop into natural disciples of Christ. (Psalm 1, Matthew 28: 18-20, Philippians 1:9-11)
